Install the app, log in with your email, set your Watchlist, scan a label, and review results.

What platforms are supported?

 

iOS (iPhone). iPad and Android are not currently supported.

Does Spottr work offline?

 

No. Scanning uses cloud processing and needs an internet connection.

How accurate are results?

 

Packaging changes, small fonts, glare, curves, blur, stylised fonts, synonyms, cropped photos, punctuation, or translation issues. Results can be incomplete or incorrect. Always verify on the package.

How can I improve scan quality?

 

Take photo of the label in bright conditions, avoid curved packaging and any visible glares for best results

Is Spottr a medical or diagnostic tool?

 

No. Spottr is information only. It is not a medical device.

Should I use Spottr for allergy management or health decisions?

 

No. Do not use Spottr to manage allergies or make health decisions, as results may contain errors due to packaging changes, OCR limitations, AI hallucination or translation uncertainty.
